Growing up can be hard. Trust me, I know that for a fact. In school there is the popular gang and the misfits, it’s been like that forever. Watch any movie, read any young adult novel and trust me, there are going to be those stereotypical characters that we all know and love. But real life isn’t fiction. It’s a struggle. People judge you based on your appearance, your gender, your beliefs. They judge you for being you and embracing your individuality. And it sucks! But we all have to be strong and stand together, because those of us who are considered misfits, those of us who are put into a corner and told to sit by garbage cans all our lives, see the beauty of life more so than the plastic barbie doll gang. We’re different, unique, and that’s what makes us shine. The other kids, well, they just don’t get how awesome you are. So #BeYou, #BeStrong and #DreamBIG. Because the horrors of middle school and high school will all be over one day. Keep on being you, friends!
